Description: The Housekeeping position (Pisos y Ama de Llaves) at Melia Hotels International ensures the cleanliness, order and readiness of assigned rooms and areas, reporting incidents and ensuring that guest stays meet quality standards to deliver an impeccable experience. Based in Ibiza, you will work within the housekeeping department to uphold our guest service standards.

What You'll Do

• Clean and prepare rooms and common areas following established standards, taking care of facilities, furniture and materials.
• Replenish linen, amenities and necessary supplies, managing waste disposal properly.
• Check the operation of room installations and equipment, reporting faults or incidents to the supervisor.
• Keep the office and cart organized and clean, manage stock of items, linen and materials.
• Monitor room status, verify discrepancies and prepare assigned rooms for arrivals.
• Hand in lost and found items, attend department meetings and comply with safety and hygiene regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Secondary Education (ESO). Valorable: vocational training in hospitality or certificates in housekeeping.
• Languages: Spanish; a second language is valued.
• Specific knowledge: Cleaning standards and handling of cleaning products/equipment; basic hotel operations.
• Skills: Organization, attention to detail and a service mindset.
• Experience: 1–2 years in a similar role in hospitality or cleaning services.

Nice to Have

• Valorable: vocational training in hospitality or certificates in housekeeping (preferred).
