About this role

About the Role Piping Superintendent will organize, coordinate and control the execution of mechanical works on the Kutei project in Batam, Indonesia, ensuring interfaces with construction disciplines and engineering, and managing materials and equipment to meet project documentation and schedule. What You'll Do

  • Organize, coordinate and control the execution of mechanical works, whether performed by subcontractors or direct hire, ensuring interfaces with construction disciplines and engineering, and verifying material and equipment availability and compliance with project documentation and schedule.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety and quality standards and procedures; promote safe works practices and environmental protection.
  • Set up the time schedule within the allocated scope.
  • Arrange for the correct and cost-effective performance of mechanical construction works, coordinating and controlling activities performed by dependent teams.
  • Report progress, explain deviations between the program and the work carried out, propose solutions or request instructions, and monitor production parameters for efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure proper discipline workflow and interface with the project organization.
  • Support the resolution of technical problems encountered during execution.
  • Manage quantities and update man-hours and cost estimates for scope changes.
  • Supervise and monitor works performed, subcontracted or direct hired; coordinate human and technical resources; plan and monitor vendors or specialists on site.
  • Manage technical and administrative documentation; ensure achievement of the MC certificate. What We're Looking For
  • Experience supervising piping/mechanical construction works on large energy/infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to coordinate activities of subcontractors and direct-hire teams and manage interfaces with construction disciplines and engineering.
  • Strong planning, scheduling, and on-site resource management skills; ability to set up time frames and monitor progress.
  • Commitment to safety, quality standards and procedural compliance; ability to promote safe works practices and environmental protection.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving and documentation management skills; ability to handle deviations and update man-hour and cost estimates for scope changes.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Batam, Indonesia, starting 01 September 2026 for an initial 12-month contract.
