Locations include: Lagos, Port Harcourt, Onne, Warri, Calabar
Available Positions Pilot Trainee — Salary Scale: JSS 2 (GL 06); Qualifications: Minimum of OND in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering; Seafarers Medical Certificate of Fitness; Mandatory certificates; West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or equivalent; Knowledge of ICT will be an added advantage; Applicants should be between 20 and 27 years. Marine Engineering Trainee — Salary Scale: JSS 2 (GL 06); Qualifications: Minimum of OND in Nautical Science or Marine Engineering; Seafarers Medical Certificate of Fitness; Mandatory certificates; West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or equivalent; Knowledge of ICT will be added advantage; Applicants should be between 20 and 27 years. Trainee Seaman — Salary Scale: JSS 3 (GL 04); Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) credits in Sciences, obtained in not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics in WASSCE or equivalent; Only applicants who obtained their certificates within the last eight (8) years are eligible to apply; Knowledge of ICT will be an added advantage; Applicants should be between 18 and 25 years. Signalman-in-Training — Salary Scale: JSS 3 (GL 04); Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) credits in Sciences, obtained in not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics in WASSCE or equivalent; Only applicants who obtained their certificates within the last eight (8) years are eligible to apply; Knowledge of ICT will be an added advantage; Applicants should be between 18 and 25 years. Radio Officer II — Salary Scale: SSS 4 (GL 08); Qualifications: B.Sc. or HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Information Technology; Standard for Training Certification and Watch Keeping (STCW’95); Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS); Age requirement: 23–35 years for Position 5 and 23–35 years for Position 6, respectively; Responsibilities for Radio Officers: Maintenance of Radio/VTS equipment; Ensures optimal functioning of communication facilities; Monitors the quality of radio communications. Assistant Manager Radio — Salary Scale: SSS 1 (GL 12); Qualifications: B.Sc. or HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Information Technology; Standard for Training Certification and Watch Keeping (STCW’95); Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS); 10 years cognate experience is required for Position; Age requirement: 23–35 years for Position 5 and 23–35 years for Position 6, respectively; Responsibilities for Assistant Manager Radio: Maintenance of Radio/VTS equipment; Ensures optimal functioning of communication facilities; Monitors the quality of radio communications. Marine Officer II — Salary Scale: SSS 4 (GL 08); Qualifications: OND in Nautical Science; OOW (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency; Mandatory certificates; Seafarers Medical Certificate; Applicants should be between 22 and 35 years. Senior Marine Officer/Engineer — Salary Scale: SSS 2 (GL 10); Qualifications: Class 2 Certificate of Competency (Deck), Chief Mate Unlimited or 1st Mate Certificate; Mandatory certificates; Seafarers Medical Certificate; Applicants should be between 25 and 35 years. Assistant Manager Harbours — Salary Scale: SSS 1 (GL 12); Qualifications: Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Deck), Unlimited; Mandatory certificates; Seafarers Medical Certificate; Applicants should be between 25 and 35 years; Ability to swim is a necessary prerequisite for positions 1 and 9.
