Job title: PIE Operator
About the Role Bachoco USA is seeking a night-shift warehouse teammate to support unloading/loading, moving products, and maintaining a safe, clean dock. The role supports our integrated supply chain and involves working toward PIE operator readiness for OK Foods.
What You'll Do
- Unload/load inbound, outbound and transfer trailers.
- Move product from one area to another.
- Work in temperatures ranging from 0 to -20 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Keep dock floors and equipment clear of debris (stretch wrap, wood, dust, snow, ice, exposed product).
- Up-stack or down-stack of product for storage, loading and inventories.
- Pass all requirements to be a PIE operator for OK Foods.
- Maintain an absentee rate of 5% or less.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
- Language Skills: Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words; recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers; ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's; apply to units of money, weight, volume, and distance.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions; deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Physical Demands: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions; ability to work in a cold dock environment.
- Other: This position has no supervisory responsibilities; Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–2:00 AM; on-site role committed to meeting goals may require long hours when necessary.
