Physiotherapist

Company Description

TWS is Tasmania’s largest injury prevention and workplace rehabilitation provider, delivering services tailored to the local Tasmanian community.

We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our Hobart team. This role offers the opportunity to combine workplace health and injury prevention services with clinic-based Physiotherapy, providing variety, flexibility and the chance to help shape and grow services within a supportive allied health environment.

Job Description

Unlike many workplace health roles, this position offers the opportunity to combine injury prevention and occupational health services with clinical Physiotherapy work.

At Total Workfit Solutions, you'll join a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals who are passionate about improving the health, wellbeing and workplace outcomes of Tasmanians.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a proactive role focused on injury prevention, occupational health and wellbeing programs, while also having the scope to provide clinical Physiotherapy services from our Hobart clinic. You'll work across a diverse range of settings, partnering with individuals and organisations to keep people healthy, safe and performing at their best.

The role offers genuine flexibility, autonomy and opportunities for growth. Most services are delivered across the Hobart region, with optional opportunities to provide services throughout Tasmania. Whether you're looking to apply your Physiotherapy skills in a different way, expand your expertise in occupational health, or move into a role where prevention is just as important as treatment, we'd love to hear from you.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Deliver clinical Physiotherapy services within our Hobart clinic and onsite settings
  • Develop and deliver workplace injury prevention, health and wellbeing programs
  • Conduct workplace, task, role and ergonomic assessments
  • Perform pre-employment, functional and capacity assessments
  • Deliver health surveillance and screening programs
  • Partner with employers and stakeholders to improve workplace health outcomes
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our Physical Services team

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills

  • A self-starter with a go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well done with attention to detail

  • Ability to complete a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance

  • Current Australian driver's licence and access to a vehicle

  • Willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives

  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey, including embracing new and emerging technology

  • Additional Information

What we offer

  • Access to professional development opportunities, including regular PD sessions, national networking and career development pathways
  • Truly flexible work arrangements (open to full time or part time hours to fit around your personal commitments).
  • Supportive team environment where you will work with a passionate and dedicated multidisciplinary allied health team.
  • An extensive employee benefits package including salary packaging, novated leasing, a leave purchasing scheme, paid parental leave, an Employee Assistance Program, and much more!
