Physician Assistant - Urology

About the Role Cape Fox Concentric Methods, LLC is seeking a Physician Assistant with Urology experience to work full time providing care to our Air Force at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. What You'll Do

• Supervise and provide general screening and medical care and examinations of patients for routine, acute and chronic conditions involving any and all organ systems; provide immunizations; diagnose, treat, and counsel patients as indicated.
• Perform specific diagnostic and therapeutic practices and procedures in accordance with scope of practice.
• Identify a medical problem and determine appropriate action to meet the problem, including referral to a physician.
• Examination of patients, formulation differential diagnostic plans, defines and orders required diagnostic testing; interpret test results and implement treatment plans.
• Answer patient work telephone consults with the assistance of clinic staff.
• Establish collaborative rapport with physician, nursing and others in order to promote and facilitate primary care services.
• Direct and provide care for a variety of diseases and injuries (acute, chronic and minor trauma); recognize emergency conditions, diagnose, prescribe for and treat diseases, disorders and injuries; refer more complex cases to qualified medical personnel and perform designated treatment.
• Prepare records and reports as required; educate patients and family members on healthy regimens and wellness responsibilities.
• Attend staff meetings for case discussion, continuing education, and quality improvement; promote preventive care and health maintenance.
• Prescribe in accordance with approved treatment protocols and Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee approved medications and immunizations.
• Direct and teach other staff, provide educational lectures, and participate in staff in-service training.
• Work Schedule: 0730 - 1630, Monday through Friday with a 1-hour lunch; Surgery Days 0700 - 1600 if assisting in surgery; Schedule may be flexible to accommodate patients' needs. What We're Looking For
• 24 months of clinical experience in the last 36 months.
• Urology experience.
• Certification as a PA by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted PA license as required in the United States (state, DC, PR, or territory). Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $155,000 per year.
