Job title: Physician Assistant Studies - Principal Faculty
About the Role The Physician Assistant Studies - Principal Faculty member will contribute to teaching, scholarship, and service within the Department of Physician Assistant Studies, integrating the Christian faith with learning. This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track position with a flexible start date no earlier than January 1, 2026. A doctoral degree is preferred; a master’s degree with relevant licensure and certifications may be considered.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, revise, lead, and instruct courses in the PAS program; support the didactic and/or clinical education portions of the PAS program as appropriate; student advising; assessment.
- Teaching assignments may include courses in medical-related undergraduate and/or doctoral programs; participate in admissions processes and university, professional, and community service; and other service to the PAS department, College of Health Science, and University as assigned.
- Maintain an active program of personal scholarship and service.
What We're Looking For
- Graduated from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program; current NCCPA certification and licensure (or eligibility) in California.
- Earned master’s degree in PA education or related field; a minimum of three years of clinical PA practice experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and computer skills; prior teaching and administrative experience preferred but not required.
- Doctoral degree is preferred; exceptional candidates with fewer than three years of clinical experience may be considered.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000 – $145,000 annually. In addition to wages, CBU offers a robust suite of employee benefits.
