About the Role We are hiring a Physician Assistant to join NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk for the Neurosurgery service. This full-time role is based in Patchogue, NY, within the NSG-Operating Room and related areas. The PA will contribute to high-quality, professional, cost-effective care under physician supervision. What You'll Do
- Provide patient care in neurosurgery, including in-house and outpatient settings
- Manage patients, perform procedures, and document care
- Participate in emergency/acute care triage and decision-making in collaboration with the Neurosurgery team
- Work in the NSG-Operating Room with a flex-day schedule (12.5-hour shifts) and rotation as needed
- Exercise scope of practice as delegated by supervising physicians and within Credentialing approvals What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited PA program
- NCCPA certification
- New York PA license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred
- Able to perform assessments, procedures, triage, and documentation in acute care settings Nice to Have
- ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications preferred Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $144,000 – $159,000 per year (USD)
