Physician Assistant

About the Role Cape Fox Concentric Methods is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide a full range of medical services at the Base Operational Medicine Clinic (BOMC) in support of the Defense Health Agency Medical Q-Coded Support and Services, Next Generation task order at the Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center located at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The PA will perform screening, medical care, examinations, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, health maintenance, patient education, and care coordination for routine, acute, and chronic conditions within the approved scope of practice and clinical privileges. What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive Physician Assistant services within the Military Treatment Facility, following training, licensure, certification, and privileges.
• Conduct general screening, medical care, and examinations for routine, acute, and chronic conditions; diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and injuries, including minor trauma.
• Recognize emergency conditions and act to diagnose, prescribe, treat, stabilize, refer, or transfer patients as clinically appropriate.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; formulate differential diagnoses and develop treatment plans; prescribe medications and immunizations per approved protocols.
• Maintain inpatient/outpatient medical records; communicate findings and plans clearly to care teams; educate patients and families on wellness and preventive care.
• Establish collaborative rapport with physicians, nursing staff, clinic staff, and other healthcare personnel; participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with Medical Staff bylaws, licensure, certification, DEA, credentialing, privileging, and facility access; adhere to DHA requirements, HIPAA, and all applicable laws.
• Notify Government supervisor and company leadership if unable to perform scheduled duties. What We're Looking For
• Active Physician Assistant license and certification; ability to obtain and maintain Military Treatment Facility privileges and credentialing.
• DEA registration and ongoing credentialing, privileging, and clinical competency documentation requirements.
• Ability to prescribe medications and immunizations per approved treatment protocols; proficiency in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, clinic staff, and other healthcare personnel.
• Commitment to patient education, preventive care, and health maintenance; familiarity with HIPAA and DHA policies.
• Willingness to participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement activities. Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: $139,000 per year.
