About the Role Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistants are sought to support VNA Care's Southboro home health teams in the Metrowest area. The PTA delivers therapeutic care to patients and families, focused on restoring, promoting, or maintaining function and minimizing the effects of illness or disability. What You'll Do
- Provide in-home physical therapy services to patients, implementing therapy plans to restore or maintain function.
- Work independently within the home health setting and collaborate with patients, families, and care teams.
- Help minimize the effects of illness or disability through therapeutic interventions and patient education.
- Follow established plans of care and document progress. What We're Looking For
- Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensed to practice physical therapy in Massachusetts.
- Availability per diem with schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; flexible schedules.
- 1 year of experience in an acute care setting or equivalent preferred.
- Home health experience preferred but not required. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $35.00 - $48.08 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement.
