About the Role The PTA will join VNA Care's home health team to provide skilled physical therapy in the Gloucester, Rockport, Essex, Manchester and Beverly area as part of the Danvers team. This is a 40-hour, Monday–Friday role with no weekends, focused on helping patients restore, promote, or maintain function and minimize the effects of illness or disability. What You'll Do
- Provide therapeutic physical therapy services to patients and families in the home health setting.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to restore, promote, or maintain function and minimize disability.
- Work independently to assess patient needs and document care; travel within the service area to patient homes as needed.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other members of the care team.
- Communicate progress and outcomes with supervisors and adjust plans as needed. What We're Looking For
- Education: Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
- Experience preferred: 1 year in an acute care setting or comparable work experience.
- Home Health experience preferred but not required. Nice to Have
- Home Health experience is a plus. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $35.00 - $48.08 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. No weekends.
- Benefits start on day 1 (medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits).
