About the Role VNA Care is seeking an experienced 40-hour Physical Therapy Assistant to work for our Needham/Canton team. The PTA provides home health physical therapy to restore, promote or maintain function and minimize the effects of illness or disability, working independently within the care plan. What You'll Do
- Provide therapeutic care to patients and families in home health to restore, promote or maintain function and minimize effects of illness or disability
- Work independently within the care plan to support patient goals and coordinate with the care team
- Document patient progress and participate in care coordination as needed What We're Looking For
- Education: Associate's degree in Physical Therapy; licensed to practice in Massachusetts
- Experience: 1 year in acute care setting or comparable work experience; Home Health experience preferred but not required
- Availability: Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; no weekends Nice to Have
- Home Health experience preferred Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $35.00 - $48.08 per hour
- Mileage reimbursement
- Benefits start on day 1 (medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits)
