About the Role

Cape Fox Concentric Methods is accepting resumes for a Physical Therapist - Women's Health to provide services at Camp Pendleton, CA. This exempt, full-time role involves evaluating patients, planning and implementing treatment programs, and delivering physical therapy within the scope of clinical privileges.

What You'll Do

  • Perform a full range of physical therapist services in accordance with the scope of clinical privileges granted by the MTF.

  • Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on an evaluation of the patient.

  • Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function.

  • Instruct, motivate, and assist patients in performing various physical activities, including non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, daily-living activities, and use of assistive devices such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.

  • Administer soft tissue mobilization and traction to relieve pain.

  • Record treatment, response, and progress in patient charts and/or automated systems.

  • Coordinate treatment with physician and other staff members to obtain additional patient information, suggest revisions, and integrate PT with other aspects of health care.

  • Contact referring physicians regarding patient care concerns, as required.

  • Perform prevention and wellness activities, education, screening, and promote positive health behaviors.

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday - 7:00a - 3:30p or 6:30a - 3:00p; Option to work a 4x10 schedule after training, extending hours.

  • What We're Looking For

  • Experience in physical therapy with ability to develop and implement treatment programs.

  • Proficiency in manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, and traction.

  • Ability to coordinate care with physicians and other health-care staff.

  • Strong documentation, communication, and patient education skills.

  • Willingness to participate in prevention and wellness activities and promote positive health behaviors.

  • Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $130,000 - $135,200 annually (exempt)

  • Scheduling flexibility with potential 4x10 option after training.
