About this role
The Staff Pad has partnered with a renowned healthcare organization in Hamilton, TX to hire a compassionate Physical Therapist to join a growing Physical Therapy team.
In this role, you will administer physical therapy treatments and therapeutic modalities as prescribed by a physician to support patient recovery, improve mobility and function, reduce pain, and promote overall rehabilitation goals.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate patients, develop &
- support treatments discharge plans under physician direction
- Prepare and educate patients on
- prescribed treatments
- Administer therapeutic exercises,
- modalities, and mobility training while educating patients
- Monitor patient progress and
- document treatments accurately
- Provide age-appropriate care for
- patients across lifespan in accordance with departmental policy
- Perform routine equipment
- maintenance as directed
- Clean and properly store equipment
- after use
- Maintain confidentiality while
- providing professional, patient-centered service
- Follow infection control and safety
- protocols
- What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- from an accredited program
- Current Texas Physical Therapy license
- and CPR certification
- Knowledge of physical therapy equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication
skills
- One year of physical therapy experience
- preferred
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and
- reach throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50
- pounds and push or pull up to 300 pounds, including assisting patients as
- needed
