About Joe Hand Wellness Joe Hand Wellness is a specialty physical therapy clinic dedicated to the treatment and management of Parkinson’s Disease and Parkinsonisms. We are seeking motivated and compassionate Physical Therapists who have experience or specialized training in treating individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, geriatrics, neurological disorders, or a strong interest in working with these patient populations. This is a unique opportunity for Physical Therapists to utilize their existing skills, expand their clinical knowledge, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of a growing population in need of specialized care and support.
Responsibilities & Treatment Focus Treatment interventions include, but are not limited to:
- Gait training
- Balance training
- Transfer training
- Assistive device training
- Patient and caregiver education
- Individualized therapeutic exercise programs With mentorship and additional training, Physical Therapists will also have the opportunity to lead group exercise classes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy (PT) program – New graduates are welcome to apply!
- Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license
- CPR certification
- LSVT BIG certification (preferred)
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Results-oriented with a commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients, caregivers, and physicians
Position Details
- Pay: $46.00–$55.00 per hour
- Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
