Job title: Physical Therapist I Outpatient
About the Role The Physical Therapist I Outpatient provides patient evaluation and treatment in Concord Hospital's outpatient rehabilitation clinic with a strong orthopedic and manual therapy program. The role serves patients of all ages with orthopedic and neurological deficits, sports injuries, and diverse specialty diagnoses including men's/women's health, vestibular, lymphedema, oncology, concussion and LSVT Big. We provide one-on-one, individualized care in 45-minute appointments for initial and follow-up visits, with a focus on mentorship and staff development.
What You'll Do
- Perform patient evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with licensure, scope of practice, and department standards.
- Re-evaluate patients and update goals for all episodes of care; monitor progress and adjust recommendations as needed.
- Ensure documentation complies with HIPAA/HIMS/QA standards and meets medico-legal requirements; maintain appropriate productivity to support clinic operations.
- Manage insurance and charging requirements and advocate for patients' access to care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team, contribute to staff development and participate in hospital/department initiatives and projects.
- Complete required departmental procedures, including timely documentation, discharges, CPR certification, and annual competencies.
What We're Looking For
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program and current NH PT license.
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or equivalent.
- Certification to practice within 90 days of hire; recertification within 30 days of expiration.
- Experience working with a multidisciplinary team and diverse patient populations; knowledge of growth and development across ages.
- Ability to perform essential job functions; physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds and related activities; ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Nice to Have
- Lymphedema and/or Men's/Women's Health (uro pelvic) experience; additional sign-on bonus available.
- Experience in vestibular, oncology, concussion, or LSVT Big is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Minimum starting pay: $74,874.98 per year.
- Additional sign-on bonus available for therapists with Lymphedema and/or Men's/Women's Health experience.
