About the Role The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will provide one-on-one rehabilitative care to adults in patients homes in Mercer County, NJ, under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. This role offers independent clinical practice with supervisory support and a hands-on home health environment. What You'll Do
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist
- Follow the established plan of care and adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress
- Accurately document treatments, observations, and patient responses in the EMR
- Travel to and from patient homes throughout the day
- Participate in QAPI initiatives, in-service trainings, and organizational development activities
- Adhere to infection control standards, universal precautions, and safety policies
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and effective communication with patients, caregivers, and colleagues What We're Looking For
- Associate’s degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active New Jersey PTA license
- Minimum of 1 year PTA experience
- CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with ongoing support and collaboration from supervising PTs
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately Nice to Have

- Salary range: USD $32.00 to USD $42.00 per hour
