Designs and architects physical security solutions including access control, video surveillance, and integrated systems. Leads security service commissioning and provides technical oversight from design through implementation.

About this role
The Physical Security Engineer owns the design and commissioning of complex physical security deployments. Senior role with technical authority across the field crew.

Travel requirement
Travel is required throughout Arizona.
International travel
Some projects may require travel to Latin American countries, typically once per year.
Compensation
Pay range
70,000 to 90,000 per year

What you'll do

Design end-to-end physical security solutions (access control, VMS, intrusion, integrated systems)

Produce detailed plan sets, riser diagrams, and BoMs

Lead system commissioning and acceptance testing

Provide technical oversight to field technicians during installs

Interface with clients, GCs, and AHJs throughout project delivery

What we're looking for

5+ years designing commercial physical security systems

Manufacturer-level certifications across multiple platforms (Avigilon Alta, Avigilon Unity, Rhombus)

Strong networking knowledge (VLANs, multicast, QoS, network segmentation)

PSP certification or equivalent preferred

Eligible to work in the U.S.; based in or relocating to one of the listed hiring locations and able to travel
