About the Role The Physical Design Engineer (EM/IR Closure Engineer) is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for block-level and subsystem-level EM/IR analysis and closure. The role requires strong execution rigor, ownership of reliability closure for assigned blocks, and close collaboration with Physical Design, STA, and Methodology teams while operating within established SAM signoff frameworks.
What You'll Do
- Perform EM/IR analysis and closure at block and subsystem levels.
- Own reliability closure for assigned blocks within SAM signoff frameworks.
- Collaborate with Physical Design, STA, and Methodology teams to ensure design robustness.
- Drive execution and verification of EM/IR closure actions with disciplined, hands-on approach.

- Hands-on contributor with experience in physical design and EM/IR analysis.
- Strong execution rigor and ownership mindset for reliability closure.
- Ability to collaborate across Physical Design, STA, and Methodology teams.
- Familiarity with signoff frameworks and methodologies (SAM).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
