About the Role The Philanthropy Assistant, Peer-to-Peer Fundraising plays a vital role in supporting the Division of Philanthropy by serving as a key frontline resource for Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge runners, Jimmy Fund Walk participants, donors, and volunteers. Through exceptional customer service, administrative support, and stewardship, this role helps create a positive participant experience. What You'll Do
- Serve as a frontline resource for Marathon Challenge runners, Jimmy Fund Walk participants, donors, and volunteers, addressing inquiries and providing information
- Provide administrative support, data entry, and donor acknowledgments to ensure timely and accurate stewardship
- Coordinate with fundraising teams and volunteers to support event logistics and participant experiences
- Maintain donor and participant communications, scheduling, and follow-up
- Help with data management in donor systems and reports as needed
- Support ongoing stewardship activities to cultivate donor relationships What We're Looking For
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills (phone, email, in-person)
- Administrative skills: organization, data entry, attention to detail, ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with teams
- High school diploma or equivalent for entry-level roles; relevant experience or coursework in philanthropy, events, or nonprofit settings is a plus
- Passion for Dana-Farber's mission and comfort engaging with runners, walkers, donors, and volunteers Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $53,500 - $58,200 per year
