About the Role
Pharmacy Technician I/II at Wilson Community Health Center supports the Pharmacist in medication dispensing, patient registration, and medication access in compliance with NC Board of Pharmacy rules. This onsite, full-time role helps ensure safe, efficient medication services for patients in the community. What You'll Do
- Accept new or refill prescription requests from patients and ensure the patient is accurately registered with the pharmacy, including name, address, date of birth, medical record number, telephone numbers, medication allergies, and appropriate payment type.
- Provide new or refill prescription requests to the pharmacy staff for processing. Answer the telephone promptly (within 4 rings) for refill requests and general questions (more detailed questions forwarded to the Pharmacist).
