About the Role
Pharmacy Technician I/II at Wilson Community Health Center supports the Pharmacist in medication dispensing, patient registration, and medication access in compliance with NC Board of Pharmacy rules. This onsite, full-time role helps ensure safe, efficient medication services for patients in the community. What You'll Do

Accept new or refill prescription requests from patients and ensure the patient is accurately registered with the pharmacy, including name, address, date of birth, medical record number, telephone numbers, medication allergies, and appropriate payment type.

Provide new or refill prescription requests to the pharmacy staff for processing. Answer the telephone promptly (within 4 rings) for refill requests and general questions (more detailed questions forwarded to the Pharmacist).

Serve as an inquiry point for visitors and check in pharmacy patient appointments, notifying the appropriate staff when the patient has arrived.

Support the Pharmacist in related dispensing activities as needed.

Maintain the pharmacy patient service area and related patient service activities; assist with related dispensing activities as needed. What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED.

National Pharmacy Technician certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is preferred.

Previous pharmacy work experience or Community Health Center experience preferred.

NC Driver License.

Basic computer skills.

Self-directed with good organization skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently; team player.

Salary range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour (Technician I, II respectively).

40-hour workweek, no weekends.
