Pharmacy Technician

About the Role Cape Fox Concentric Methods LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide full-time services to the U.S. Air Force at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV. This role supports a full range of pharmacy operations in a non-exempt environment under the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) and a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). What You'll Do

• Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures, including dispensing duties and order entry.
• Fill new outpatient prescriptions, refills, and enter orders into databases and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Provide information consultations and support for patients, prescriptions, and physician requests; monitor for drug interactions and report adverse drug reactions.
• Conduct quality improvement activities such as drug storage inspections, review of expired supplies, and generating error/workload reports.
• Manage supply processes: place orders, stock/restock shelves, maintain inventory, and generate not-in-stock reports.
• Interpret prescriptions for content, completeness, compatibility, and compliance with pharmacy guidelines.
• Perform drug checks, print labels, and prepare, package, and label prescriptions and orders.
• Conduct monthly pharmaceutical inspections in assigned pharmacy and patient care areas; rotate drug stock to maintain freshness and dispose of expired or unsuitable drugs.
• Clean and arrange pharmacy equipment and supplies; post and maintain pharmacy records (including controlled substances) and ensure professional attire per department policy.
• Work schedule consists of 8- to 12-hour shifts between 0000–2359, Sunday–Saturday, up to 40 scheduled hours per week at Satellite or Hospital Pharmacy; schedules provided at least one week in advance; not required to work federal holidays. What We're Looking For
• Experience performing pharmacy technician duties and supporting dispensing, data entry, and documentation activities.
• Ability to interpret prescriptions, monitor drug interactions, and report adverse drug reactions.
• Competence in drug storage inspection, inventory management, labeling, packaging, and maintaining controlled substances records.
• Familiarity with pharmacy databases/EHR systems and adherence to pharmacy practice guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work in a regulated environment with a CBA in place. Compensation & Benefits
• Total hourly pay: $30.21 for up to 40 hours per week (base $24.12 plus $5.09 Health & Welfare) under SCLS regulations.
