Main responsibilities (not exhaustive):
- Recording and reporting adverse reactions received from healthcare professionals, company representatives and patients.
- Conducting in-depth interviews with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of pharmacovigilance reports in line with NAFDAC requirements.
- Flagging up early warning signs of adverse effects of drugs.
- Setting up and reviewing processes and training.
- Maintain accurate pharmacovigilance records and safety databases.
- Prepare and review pharmacovigilance reports and safety documentation.
- Contributing to research.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and relevant stakeholders on drug safety matters.
Professional requirements (minimum):
- B.Pharm/Pharm.D
- Must have completed NYSC.
- Good understanding of pharmacovigilance principles, adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting, and drug safety monitoring.
Language required (minimum):
- English Language
Software knowledge required (minimum):
- Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides
- OR its equivalents (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint etc.)
