About the Role Join Dis-Chem Pharmacies as a Pharmacist at the Walmer Park store to deliver pharmaceutical care, manage medicine-related needs and ensure compliance with legal and professional standards. What You'll Do
- Provide pharmaceutical care and assess patients' medicine-related needs, ensuring safe and effective therapy.
- Dispense medicines and confirm prescriptions, signing off as per GPP 2.7.1.2.1.f and bearing accountability for accuracy.
- Inform and advise patients on medicine use and potential interactions; educate on adherence and follow-up.
- Determine patient compliance and follow through to meet medicine-related needs; provide pharmacist-initiated therapy where appropriate.
- Compound, prepare, package, supervise preparation of medicines and scheduled substances; oversee manufacturing and supervision as needed.
