Key Responsibilities
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and therapeutic appropriateness.
- Dispense medications accurately, ensuring proper labelling and packaging.
- Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, storage, and adherence.
- Conduct basic health screenings, including blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring.
- Advise patients on minor ailments and over-the-counter medications.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide pharmacy staff.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and stock control to ensure medicine availability and minimize waste.
- Promote teamwork, professional development, and ethical pharmacy practices.
Qualifications
- Must be a post-internship Pharmacist.
- Strong pharmaceutical knowledge and patient counselling skills.
- Ability to dispense medications accurately and provide basic health screening services.
- Good leadership, inventory management, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to professional and ethical standards.
