Job Summary
- We are seeking a qualified and licensed Pharmacist to oversee the dispensing of medications, provide pharmaceutical care, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the company's commitment to delivering safe and effective healthcare products.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and dispense prescriptions accurately in accordance with professional and legal standards.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, interactions, and storage requirements.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of medicines and pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of drugs in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and pharmacy operations.
- Provide drug information and pharmaceutical advice to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Participate in pharmacovigilance activities and report adverse drug reactions where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations set by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN), NAFDAC, and other relevant authorities.
- Conduct routine checks on product quality, expiry dates, and inventory accuracy.
- Support health promotion initiatives and patient education programs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Assist in developing and implementing pharmacy policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
- Current practicing license issued by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Must have 2–5 years of relevant pharmacy experience.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of AI tools(Chatgpt and Claude AI) is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
