About this role
Pharmaceutical Sales Representative
About the role
Dizpharm Nigeria Limited is a NAFDAC-certified pharmaceutical manufacturer that has produced analgesics, antibiotics, vitamins and Chrismatel table water from Ibusa, Delta State since 1986. We are hiring an experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to carry our brands into the field — detailing and selling to community pharmacies, wholesale drug distributors in the major open-drug markets (Onitsha Ogbo-Ogwu, Lagos Idumota, Aba, Onitsha Head Bridge and beyond), hospitals, clinics and registered patent & proprietary medicine vendors. You will own a territory, build a loyal base of repeat buyers, hit monthly sales targets and feed real demand signals back to production. This is a hands-on, road-based commercial role for someone who already understands pharmaceutical selling and wants a strong, NAFDAC-backed product range to grow.
Responsibilities
- Detail, promote and sell Dizpharm’s medicines — analgesics, antibiotics, vitamins and other lines — to pharmacies, wholesalers, hospitals, clinics and PPMVs in your territory.
- Open new accounts and grow an existing base of repeat buyers, building genuine relationships with pharmacists, buyers and key decision-makers.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales volume, value and coverage targets.
- Plan efficient call cycles and route coverage so every key outlet in the territory is visited on a regular cadence.
- Take, confirm and follow up orders through to delivery and payment, working with the office, distributors and logistics.
- Drive product visibility and sell-through at the point of sale — shelf presence, merchandising, samples and promotions.
- Collect and report market intelligence: competitor pricing, new products, demand shifts and customer feedback.
- Monitor outlet stock levels and re-order points to prevent stock-outs and keep Dizpharm products always available.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, orders, customers and collections, and report performance to the Sales & Marketing Manager on a regular cadence.

-
A demonstrable track record of meeting or beating sales targets and growing a territory.
-
Existing relationships with pharmacies, wholesalers, hospitals or PPMVs are a strong advantage.
-
Strong selling, detailing, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
-
Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable spending most of the week in the field.
-
Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory; a valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
-
Based in, or willing to relocate to, the assigned territory (Delta/South-East/South-South or as assigned) and to attend the Ibusa/Asaba head office as required.

Nice to have
-
A Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or PCN registration.
-
An established customer base in one of the major open-drug markets (Onitsha, Aba, Lagos Idumota, Kano).
