About the Role A hands-on leadership role overseeing daily pet care operations at NVA Pet Resorts as part of the Pet Pro Lead team. You will coach and mentor Pet Pros, ensure safety, cleanliness, and documentation, and actively work alongside your team while upholding high standards of care. What You'll Do
- Lead and coach Pet Pros; train new and existing staff to meet safety and care standards.
- Monitor daycare playgroups and boarding areas; reinforce safe handling techniques.
- Ensure medication administration and feeding protocols are followed; maintain health reporting and documentation.
- Oversee sanitation and cleaning standards; maintain a calm, structured environment.
- Enforce safety procedures and address safety concerns immediately.
- Support operational excellence: manage inventory, facility cleanliness, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Resort Manager/General Manager; ensure high-quality pet experiences and client satisfaction. What We're Looking For
- Experience in animal handling and group dog supervision; 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Calm, decisive, reliable, and detail-focused; able to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs; stand/move for extended periods; work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
- Knowledge of dog body language and group dynamics strongly preferred. Nice to Have
