About the Role American Veterinary Group's Pet Care Center in Montgomery, AL is a well-established, multi-doctor practice serving the small animal community. The team provides comprehensive care to canine and feline patients using modern tools and an ER facility nearby for after-hours care. This role supports top-notch care in a collaborative environment. What You'll Do
- Support veterinarians and technicians in daily patient care and use diagnostic tools such as digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy.
- Assist in procedures within a dedicated surgery suite and help with anesthesia setups as needed.
- Utilize AviMark software for patient records and practice management.
- Coordinate 24-hour hospitalization or transfers after hours through the ER facility across the street.
- Contribute to a compassionate, team-based culture focused on canine and feline patients. What We're Looking For
- Interest in high-quality veterinary care and animal welfare; able to thrive in a multi-doctor practice with an established support staff.
- Willingness to learn and use veterinary software (AviMark) and to adapt to clinic workflows.
- Ability to support after-hours patient care in coordination with the nearby ER facility. Nice to Have
- Experience with AviMark software.
- Familiarity with digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy.
