Job title: Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
About the Role Rosie Home Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team. As a PCA, you will help clients stay safe, supported, and empowered to remain in their homes, following individualized care plans and reporting changes promptly with empathy in every interaction.
What You'll Do
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide mobility support, including transfers and ambulation assistance.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Offer medication reminders to ensure clients stay on schedule.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Document client care accurately and promptly.
- Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
- Run errands as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and TB test.
- Verification of professional references.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 30 to 40 minutes.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong communication skills in English.
