Overview

At Pepper's Personal Assistants, we believe exceptional support creates space for what matters most.

Since 2012, we've partnered with executives, entrepreneurs, and busy professionals throughout Seattle by providing thoughtful, proactive household management and lifestyle support. Our clients trust us to anticipate needs, create order, and deliver exceptional service that gives them more time to focus on their families, careers, and the things they enjoy most.

We're seeking an experienced, proactive Personal Assistant to support a professional family in Queen Anne. This is more than a task-oriented role; it's an opportunity to become a trusted partner who creates calm, brings organization to a busy household, and helps life run seamlessly.

If you naturally think ahead, notice the details others miss, and take pride in delivering exceptional service, we'd love to meet you.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, anticipating needs, and managing the details that help busy professionals thrive. It is not designed for candidates seeking childcare, housekeeping-only, or entry-level administrative work.

Job Summary

We are hiring for a Personal Assistant to support a busy professional family of four by managing household operations, food and meal preparation, creating and maintaining organization systems, and anticipating needs before they're asked. Success in this role isn't measured by how many tasks you complete; it's measured by how seamlessly you help your client's life run.

Requirements

Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and maintain household organization systems that support daily routines and make items easy to find and put away.
  • Lead decluttering and organization projects, including closets, storage areas, and seasonal transitions.
  • Plan meals and snacks, shop for groceries, and prepare food according to household preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Follow household food-allergy protocols carefully, including checking ingredient labels and preventing cross-contact during food preparation, storage, and cleanup.
  • Complete household errands and maintain inventories of groceries and household supplies.
  • Manage laundry and wardrobe care, including washing, folding, putting items away, and coordinating dry cleaning.
  • Perform daily household resets, dishes, and light household upkeep.
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate vendors, and support home maintenance and household projects.
  • Research products, services, and solutions; present practical recommendations that meet the household’s needs.
  • Provide routine cat care and coordinate pet-related supplies, appointments, and other needs.
  • Anticipate household needs, resolve routine issues independently, and communicate questions or concerns promptly.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong organization skills, with experience decluttering spaces and creating practical, sustainable systems.

  • Sharp attention to detail and consistent follow-through.

  • Resourceful problem-solving skills and the ability to research options and recommend solutions.

  • Experience planning and preparing snacks and meals.

  • Experience working in households with children and comfort navigating family routines.

  • Experience preparing food in a household with severe food allergies, including understanding ingredient verification and cross-contact prevention.

  • While you'll be working in a family home, this position is focused on household management and personalized support. Childcare is not a primary responsibility of this role.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Hold a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle for client errands

Who You Are:

  • The ideal candidate has experience in household management, executive assistance, hospitality, luxury service, or another client-focused profession and enjoys taking ownership of their work.

You are someone who:

  • Creates systems that improve efficiency and organization
  • Works independently with excellent judgment and discretion
  • Communicates clearly, professionally, and proactively
  • Values privacy, trust, and attention to detail
  • Is adaptable, dependable, and solution-oriented
  • Takes pride in providing thoughtful, high-quality service
