About the Role Perpetual Inventory Controller (External Applications Only- Namakgale) is responsible for performing physical cycle stock counts, reconciling results with the system stock on hand, and investigating discrepancies. The role also involves identifying damaged stock, incorrect pricing, and SKUs, and reporting findings to Store/Divisional management. What You'll Do
- Perform daily perpetual inventory counts (PIC) and verify against system stock.
- Investigate variances (positive or negative) and report results to the Store Manager.
- Rectify negative stock quantities daily, after receiving approval from the Store Manager.
- Identify and report damaged stock, incorrect pricing, and SKU issues.
- Conduct Mini Stock-takes as instructed; assist with Wall-to-Wall stock-take preparations and report areas of concern.
- Prepare and report end-of-day PIC variances; ensure related documentation (End of Day Report) is completed and filed.
- File and administer PIC documents; obtain sign-off and file daily.
- Adhere to safety requirements and Cashbuild Way, including customer service standards and dress code; assist with customer complaints as needed. What We're Looking For
- Minimum Grade 12 and 1 year of related work experience or 2 years related experience.
- Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language of the area.
- Literate with strong numeric skills; accurate and able to work under pressure.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
