Permitting Specialist
Green Ridge Solar is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Permitting Specialist to join our growing team. As a key point of for our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient progression of solar projects through our permitting pipeline. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of construction permitting, preferably within the solar industry.

- Solid understanding of construction permitting processes and regulations.
- Experience with solar permitting is a plus.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to different AHJ requirements.
Requirements
Job Description:The Permitting Specialist is responsible for managing the critical initial stages of our solar installation projects. Your primary duties will include:

Setting up jobs within our operational pipeline.

Serving as the primary point of contact for Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)

Obtaining all necessary permits from AHJ & Utilities

Securing net-metering agreements.

Reserving available incentives for qualifying systems.

Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of individual AHJ permitting requirements.

Coordinating final inspections upon project completion.

Distributing project closeout and approval notices to all relevant parties.
