About the Role The hospice CNA role at Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in Worcester, MA provides personal care under a licensed clinician and supports terminally ill patients in a dedicated 10-bed hospice setting. Per diem shifts include 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. What You'll Do
- Provide personal care for patients under the direction of a licensed clinician.
- Follow an established Plan of Care and standard precautions.
- Document care provided in a timely manner.
- Deliver compassionate, confidential service and maintain professionalism. What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current Massachusetts CNA certification.
- Understanding and experience with end-of-life care.
- Successful completion of required training: minimum 75 hours training, competency testing, written skills, and 12 hours in-service per year (pro-rated in first year).
- Ability to observe changes in a patient's status. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rate $21.00 per hour, plus evening differential.
