Job title: Per Diem Behavioral Health Aide
About the Role The Per Diem Behavioral Health Aide provides continuous, direct, one-to-one observation and support for patients experiencing acute mental health symptoms. This role supports safety and patient care within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care on a per diem (as-needed) basis.
What You'll Do
- Provide continuous, direct, one-to-one observation and support for patients with acute mental health symptoms
- Assist in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
- Respond to patient needs and escalate concerns to clinical staff as appropriate
