About this role
WHAT WE BELIEVE | HOW WE WORK
We believe in the future and power of the mobile gaming industry and that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to build a life they love through games—from anywhere in the world.
We believe you know when and where you do your best work. We are fully remote by design and we WFA: Work From Anywhere. We don’t impose hours or limit time off.
We are driven by performance and we experiment often. We care about impact, not titles.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Yodo1 is looking for a highly organized, proactive and self-driven People Operations Coordinator to support our People function (onboarding, talent and HR) at Yodo1. This role sits at the heart of our People function, supporting both onboarding and broader People Ops processes. You’ll play a key role in making sure every new joiner has a smooth, engaging, and well-structured start, while also helping us continuously improve how we do things here. This role has the potential to evolve and expand into wider People and Talent Operations responsibilities.
You are: focused on impact, understanding the 80/20 rule and focusing on activities that matter; performance-driven and growth-oriented, with an intrinsic will to succeed while unafraid to try, fail, and learn by experimenting with new approaches and testing ideas; cooperative, helping others succeed and giving and receiving feedback well; relentlessly curious, asking questions; humble, asking for help and quick to admit and learn from mistakes; SMART, working and communicating in ways that are Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
WHAT WE EXPECT
You will continuously improve the onboarding experience for new joiners, ensuring processes are clear, consistent, and up to date. Review and update internal resources and onboarding documentation (for example Notion pages). Handle operational tasks across onboarding, Talent, and HR, including system updates, data filtering, and report collation. Maintain accurate, well-organized People data and documentation. Help optimize how we use AI, tools, and systems across People and Talent.
You must have: experience in a similar operational or administrative role, working closely with onboarding, HR and recruiting teams; experience with, or an interest in, leveraging AI to improve efficiency in your work; comfort working across multiple tools and systems (for example Notion, ATS platforms); an interest in People Operations, employee experience, and process improvement; the ability to be highly organized, with strong attention to detail; a proactive approach, with the confidence to take ownership of tasks and processes; strong communication skills, both written and verbal; the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
You might have: experience working with teams across different locations, cultures, and time zones; experience working closely with onboarding, HR, and recruiting teams; flexibility to accommodate some overlap with Beijing working hours; a passion for, or interest in, game development.
WHAT WE OFFER
Compensation. We pay based on qualifications, experience, and fit for the role. We provide an allowance to purchase your own device or equipment and offer variable compensation through our annual bonus program.
Growth. We offer an environment where you will have the trust and freedom to try, fail, learn fast, and make a real impact while accelerating your career, and where anyone with a great idea can pitch it directly to our management team.
WFA. Work from anywhere in the world, travel when and where you like, get paid in your currency of choice, and enjoy flexible hours and unlimited paid time off.
Community. Work with an energetic, fast-learning, supportive, and diverse team of Yodies across six continents and 30+ countries who share and support new ideas and get things done.

After two-plus decades of helping companies like Microsoft build businesses in strategic regions, James LaLonde and Henry Fong got together over a shared love of gaming to set their sights on a new challenge. In 2011, Yodo1 was born to help indie studios and solo developers simplify the long, complex process of scaling mobile games and make it easy to unlock rapidly-growing markets.
Over the years, we cooked up a secret sauce for monetizing mobile games, first in China—then worldwide—with iconic titles such as Rodeo Stampede, Transformers: Earth Wars, and Crossy Roads. So far, we’ve helped over 6,000 indie developers generate millions of dollars from their games and engage more than 3.5 billion players.
Today, we’re combining the art and science of mobile game growth by pairing over a decade of industry expertise with the latest technologies to simplify and optimize growth for thousands of studios across dozens of countries. Now, Yodo1 is the one partner mobile game developers need to manage and accelerate every stage of growth so they can get back to building the next breakthrough experience.
