Job Description The People & Development Executive supports the organization’s human resources and employee development initiatives. The role is responsible for coordinating recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, training and development, performance management, HR administration, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations. The position works closely with employees and managers to create a positive workplace environment and support the organization’s people and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate recruitment activities, orientations and 30-60-90 days new onboarding plan

  • Maintain accurate onboarding records and support the onboarding process for new employees.

  • Ensure new employees receive the necessary documentation, information, and compliance training resources.

  • Learning & Development

  • Identify training and development needs in coordination with managers and employees.

  • Coordinate internal and external training programs, workshops, and development initiatives.

  • Maintain training records and monitor employee participation and completion.

  • Support the development of career development and succession planning initiatives.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness and gather employee feedback.

  • Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Support employee engagement activities, surveys, and initiatives.

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries relating to HR policies, benefits, development, and workplace matters.

  • Assist with employee relations matters while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.

  • Performance Management

  • Coordinate the annual and periodic performance appraisal process.

  • Support managers and employees with goal setting and performance reviews.

  • Maintain performance management records and follow up on agreed development actions.

  • HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.

  • Prepare HR reports, letters, contracts, and other documentation as required.

  • Monitor attendance, leave, and employee information in coordination with relevant departments.

  • Assist with HR policies, procedures, and process improvements.

  • Ensure HR documentation and processes comply with company requirements and applicable employment legislation.

  • General Responsibilities

  • Support HR projects and organizational development initiatives.

  • Prepare regular reports and HR metrics for management.

  • Assist with employee communications and internal HR announcements.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the HR Manager or Head of People.

Qualifications

  • Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Human Resources, Talent Development, People Operations, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing, coordinating, and implementing training and development programs.

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, talent acquisition, and employee lifecycle best practices.

  • Proven experience with performance management systems, employee engagement initiatives, and development programs.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and stakeholders at all organizational levels.

  • Strong organizational, coordination, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Proficiency in HR data analysis, reporting, and preparing people-related metrics and insights.

  • Sound knowledge of UAE Labour Law, employment regulations, and HR compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in Forbes training programs, service standards, and compliance requirements, with the ability to coordinate and monitor relevant training initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of employee learning, development, engagement, and organizational culture.

  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail, and integrity.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline is preferred

  • Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS)

  • Coaching and facilitation skills

  • Project management experience

  • Familiarity with talent management best practices and industry trends

  • Experience in a multicultural or multinational organization
