People, Culture & Operations Lead
Overview
Bougie Haus is looking for a People, Culture & Operations Lead to run our private wellness lifestyle club. You will lead the team and ensure every client gets the same calm, well-run experience every time.
Responsibilities
- Hire: run the hiring for every open role. You will interview, screen and present the best two or three candidates to the Founder, who makes the final choice.
- Train: onboard every new team member and train them in our standards until they are fully settled in their role.
- Protect our culture: set the tone every day, correct poor behaviour early, handle staff issues, and bring only the decisions that need the Founder.
- Run daily operations: manage rosters, attendance and leave, and make sure every department meets the standard every single day.
- Manage performance: set clear targets for each role, track them, and act quickly when someone is falling short.
- Look after the money: check daily takings against bookings, prepare payroll for the Founder’s approval, manage petty cash, verify supplier invoices before payment, and keep a record of every refund.
- Report: bring everything together in one clear report to the Founder.
Requirements

At least 5 years in operations, including 3 years leading a team.

You must have trained and managed people before.

Experience in hospitality, wellness or beauty, ideally in a membership or booking-based business, or real passion for hospitality.

Warm, enthusiastic, with strong people skills.

This is not a junior or entry-level role.

Location: Lekki or Ajah, Lagos. You must live in or close to Lekki or Ajah. Office-based.

Type: Full-Time, with a 90-day probation.
