We welcome applications from candidates seeking either full-time or part-time opportunities. If you are interested in a part-time position, please outline your preferred working pattern and hours in your application.
Please note due to the location of this role and limited public transport links, applicants will need access to their own vehicle to travel to and from the site.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
As our People Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Providing day-to-day People support, managing employee queries, maintaining accurate HR records, producing reports and ensuring People processes are compliant and consistently applied.
- Coordinating the MIE bonus and incentive scheme, ensuring accurate and timely calculations, responding to employee and manager queries, and supporting ongoing scheme reviews.
- Supporting managers with routine employee relations matters in partnership with the ER COE, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and timely escalation of complex cases.
- Supporting performance, engagement and development processes, including annual pay reviews, objective setting, recognition initiatives and training coordination, while identifying opportunities to improve employee experience and retention.
- Supporting health, safety and wellbeing across the operation, including absence monitoring, wellbeing initiatives, health surveillance and occupational health processes, helping to foster a safe and healthy working environment.
KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
Put simply, the key things we’re looking for are:
- Previous experience in an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator or HR Administration role, with a good understanding of HR processes and employment legislation.
