About the role
As a People & Capability Advisor, you will provide practical HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle. You will work closely with managers and employees to ensure our people practices are effective, consistent and aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
- Assisting with employment agreements, variations and other employment documentation.
- Supporting performance management, employee relations and workplace matters.
- Providing advice on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Supporting organisational change, restructures and other people initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
- Partnering with leaders to identify people and capability needs.
- Assisting with HR reporting, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring HR processes are applied consistently and in line with company requirements.
What We Offer
- Full Time Position with the hours worked between 8:30am to 5:00pm based in Auckland

What You Bring
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, People & Capability Advisor or similar role.
- Good knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and HR practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with managers and employees.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
- A practical and solutions-focused approach to HR matters.
- Strong written communication skills and confidence preparing HR documentation.
- Experience working with HR systems and Microsoft Office.
