People Analytics Analyst

We are looking for a People Analytics Analyst to support data-informed workforce decisions for a leading organization in the entertainment industry based in Chanhassen, Minnesota. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who combines analytical expertise with a strong understanding of human resources data, reporting, and stakeholder partnership. In this role, you will turn complex people data into meaningful insights that help leaders strengthen workforce planning, improve employee experience, and guide strategic decisions across Human Capital functions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to define meaningful workforce metrics and measure performance across areas such as staffing, learning, compensation, payroll, and broader people strategies.

• Analyze large and varied people data sets using advanced analytical methods, predictive techniques, and visualization tools to uncover trends and provide practical recommendations for business leaders.

• Create, enhance, and manage dashboards and recurring reports that clearly communicate key Human Capital indicators, patterns, and outcomes to stakeholders.

• Work closely with technology teams to connect data from multiple platforms and maintain reliable access to accurate information for reporting and analysis.

• Maintain high standards for data governance by protecting confidentiality, supporting compliance requirements, and promoting responsible use of employee information.

• Build and maintain reports within Workday and ServiceNow to support ongoing operational and strategic reporting needs.

• Translate analytical findings into clear business insights that help senior leaders make informed decisions about workforce priorities and organizational effectiveness.

• 5+ years of experience in people analytics, HR analytics, HRIS analysis, or a closely related field.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Business, Statistics, or another relevant discipline.

• Strong capability with analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, Excel, and Snowflake.

• Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, including Workday HCM; exposure to ServiceNow is preferred.

• Demonstrated success managing complex analytics initiatives and influencing decisions through data-driven insights.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings in a clear and actionable way for varied audiences.

• Strong collaborative, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills in cross-functional business environments.

• Knowledge of HR data structures, reporting processes, and data integrity practices within enterprise systems.
