About the Role Precision Castparts is seeking a Penetrant Line Operator to perform the preparation and application of fluorescent penetrant on castings and to prepare castings for evaluation by the fluorescent penetrant system. The role is responsible for completing all steps necessary for penetrant application and ensuring castings are ready for inspection.
What You'll Do
- Complete all steps in the preparation and application of penetrant to castings.
- Visually inspect castings for surface dirt and clean and degrease as necessary.
- Chemically etch specific castings by local or swab etching as part of the preparation.
- Prepare castings for evaluation by the fluorescent penetrant system.
