Pellet Press Operator
Purpose To operate and monitor pellet press machines for the production of high-quality poultry feed pellets and crumbs while ensuring optimal machine performance, product quality, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
The Job Preparing and setting up pellet press machines for the production of poultry feed pellets and crumbs. Monitoring and adjusting steam valves to regulate machine temperature during production. Adjusting ammeters and control valves to regulate the flow of raw materials into the machine. Operating and adjusting rollers to produce crumb feed that meets required specifications. Operating the bucket elevator system to transfer finished pellets to the designated feed bins. Monitoring machine performance and making necessary adjustments to achieve desired throughput and product quality.
