About the Role

• We are seeking experienced Pellet Mill Operators to join our feed production team.
• The ideal candidates must have hands-on experience operating pellet mills in a commercial animal feed manufacturing environment.
• Candidates from industries outside feed milling will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pellet mill machines to produce high-quality animal feed pellets.
• Set up and adjust pellet mill equipment to achieve required pellet quality and production targets.
• Monitor steam conditioning, temperature, moisture levels, and die performance during production.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform basic maintenance of pellet mill equipment.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with production schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production and machine operation records.
• Follow all health, safety, and company operating procedures.
• Keep the work area clean and maintain good housekeeping practices.

Requirements

• ND or HND in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5–10 years' experience operating pellet mills in an animal feed manufacturing company.
• Feed mill experience is mandatory.
• Experience working with reputable feed manufacturers (e.g., Karma Agric or similar feed mill companies) is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of pellet mill operations, steam conditioning, pellet quality, and machine troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety and quality control procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

Salary

N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
