Job title: PEFS Associate
About the Role
The PEFS Associate will support accounting and financial reporting for private equity fund clients within Baker Tilly's PEFS practice. The role focuses on daily accounting tasks, reporting packages, and coordinating capital calls and distributions to ensure accurate, timely information for management and investors.
What You'll Do

Record daily journal entries and review cash reporting.

Help prepare quarterly and annual reporting packages for management approval.

Help prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for management approval.

Prepare capital calls and distributions for management approval.

Coordinate the delivery of capital call and distribution notices to clients and the investors.

Prepare and review correspondence with client investors to address inquiries as needed.

Manage client investor portals.

Coordinate and complete special projects as directed by management.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA license (or in process) preferred.

Excellent communication, time management, planning, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.

Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Knowledge of Investran or other partnership accounting software a plus.

Ability to travel for work (5%).
