About the Role Peer Support Specialist (On-Call) at Telecare in Redwood City, CA. This onsite, part-time role focuses on engaging members, de-escalating crises, and transporting clients, leveraging lived experience to support behavioral health goals. What You'll Do
- Engage, de-escalate crises, and facilitate conversations with members served to support their recovery and engagement
- Transport clients when needed
- Participate in Telecare's Peer Workforce career ladder and mission to grow lived experience within the organization
- Contribute to meaningful conversations that help members explore, create, and meet their own recovery goals What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Maintained peer certification (CalMHSA Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist in CA)
- Lived experience with behavioral health
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Willingness to drive clients
- Ability to de-escalate and engage members Compensation & Benefits Salary: $23-$26/hr Onsite • Part-Time
