We are seeking a compassionate Pediatrician to provide high-quality, community-centered care as part of a collaborative medical team.

Direct Patient Care:

• Build and manage a pediatric patient panel, providing comprehensive, high-quality care.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using established clinical guidelines.
• Perform procedures within documented training and clinical privileges.
• Collaborate across medical, behavioral health, dental, and community services to coordinate whole-person care.
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
• Respond to urgent and life-threatening situations.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
• Partner with scheduling and management teams to meet productivity standards.

Professional Conduct:

• Adhere to clinic communication guidelines and expectations with internal and external customers including co-workers, patients, and external partners.
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with people of different racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds and lifestyles
• Demonstrate professional and productive collaboration with healthcare team
• May assist with recruitment of physicians/advanced practice clinicians
• May form liaisons with appropriate professional societies, educational institutions and community organizations to enhance clinic ability to deliver medical care to target population.
• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement efforts and safety, environmental and infection control standards
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state patient confidentiality laws
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid California Physician's License
• Maintains an updated CPR certificate, valid California driver's license, and valid DEA license; submits copies of renewed licenses and certificates to Human Resources.
• Board Certified or Board Qualified in Pediatrics preferred
• Ability to obtain/maintain hospital admitting privileges at local hospital.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Fluent Spanish/English.
• Bi-cultural Spanish/English

Compensation Details

$278K–$313K

Benefit package: available to all regular Salud employees working 24+ hours per week. Part-time employees may receive some benefits on a pro-rated basis.

• Relocation reimbursement of up to $20,000.00

Additional Information:

• Employees on temporary assignments are eligible for holiday pay and California sick pay, both pro-rated based on hours worked.
• On-call employees are eligible for California sick pay, pro-rated based on hours worked.
