About the Role
Dayton Children’s Hospital seeks a pediatric ophthalmologist to join our expanding service. Qualified candidates must hold, or be able to obtain, an unrestricted Ohio medical license and be board certified/board eligible in ophthalmology. Fellowship training at an AAPOS approved fellowship is required. We offer a highly competitive salary. What You'll Do
- Provide pediatric ophthalmology services to a large pediatric population at Dayton Children’s, a freestanding children’s hospital with a Level I pediatric trauma designation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a technologically advanced pediatric center and participate in teaching within the Boonshoft School of Medicine/membership of the physician faculty.
- Contribute to an expanding service and help uphold Dayton Children’s strong community reputation.
What We're Looking For
- Unrestricted Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology.
- Fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology through an AAPOS-approved program (required).
