Job title: Pediatric Medical Geneticist (MD or DO)
About the Role Dayton Children's Hospital is recruiting a pediatric medical geneticist to join our expanding Genetics department. This is an employed position with a very competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.
What You'll Do
- Provide pediatric medical genetics clinical care and genetic/metabolic disorder management
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including 2 geneticists, a nurse practitioner, genetic counselors, and support staff
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to program growth and metabolic/newborn screening initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Completion of an accredited medical genetics fellowship
- Board certification or board eligibility in clinical genetics
- Medical license in Ohio or ability to obtain
- MD or DO
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to long-term practice
- Interest in metabolic disorders/newborn screening abnormalities (desirable)
