Cook Children's Heart Center is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and collaborative Pediatric Advanced Imaging Cardiologist to join our nationally recognized and expanding pediatric cardiovascular program in Fort Worth, Texas.

7 Advanced Noninvasive Imaging Cardiologists

4 General Pediatric Cardiologists

3 Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeons

8 Advanced Practice Providers
Our program offers specialized expertise in:

Fetal Echocardiography

Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)

Cardiac MRI

Advanced 3D Visualization & Modeling

Fully integrated in-house 3D imaging and printing laboratory

State-of-the-Art Heart Center

2 dedicated cardiac catheterization laboratories

2 cardiovascular operating rooms

14-bed CVICU
-
14-bed dedicated cardiac step-down unit

Dedicated Cardiac MRI magnet

Fully digital echocardiography lab with real-time image review and interpretation across outreach locations

High Volume, Growing Program

450-500 congenital cardiac surgeries annually

600-650 interventional, diagnostic, and EP procedures annually
Cook Children's is currently investing in a major cardiovascular expansion, including:

2 additional cardiac catheterization laboratories

2 new cardiovascular operating suites

Expanded echocardiography facilities

New 28-bed CVICU

New 28-bed inpatient cardiovascular care unit

Interest in clinical research and academic development is welcome but not required. Cook Children’s research infrastructure includes dedicated Heart Center research staff for IRB support, grant development, statistical analysis, manuscript preparation, and multidisciplinary collaboration

Qualifications
-
MD or DO
-
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics Residency
-
Completion of an accredited Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship
-
Additional training or significant experience in Advanced Cardiac Imaging
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology
-
Current BLS and PALS certifications
-
Texas medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
